According to Indian mythology, Diwali is a festival commemorating Lord Ram's return to Ayodhya along with his wife Sita, brother Lakshman and ardent devotee Hanuman after defeating the demon king Ravan. This religious festival signifies the victory of good over evil and the triumph of light over darkness. Hamaara Sapna continued the practice of arranging activities for the beneficiary by way of making a sweet called Mohan thal and ladoo. Traditional Diya decorations by the beneficiaries lit up the festival.
