Hamaara Sapna- Kandivali Centre celebrated its first Haldi Kumkum Festival. This auspicious day started with an entertainment programme. Ganesh Vandana was sung beautifully by a beneficiary. This was followed by solo and group dances. Jogwa dance was widely appreciated by all. The lazy dance had people in splits. Other dances were great too. Yoga teacher had put up a lovely choreographed perfromance. This was followed by til gul distributions. All married women applied a vermillion tikka to each other's forehead, sprinkled some rice and wished each other. Women dressed up in their best sarees and looked radiant and beautiful. They found great joy in coming together and celebrating this festival. The day ended with snacks and cold drinks.
