Swadhaar FinAccess is a non-profit organization founded in 2005 with the dual objectives of providing economically disadvantaged persons living in slums increased access to financial services and to bridge the gap with the formal financial sector, thereby helping these persons to improve their financial circumstances.The word ‘Swadhaar’ in Hindi means ‘self support’ -  a reflection of the organisation’s objective of helping its clients improve their financial circumstances by achieving self-reliance, increasing their income generating potential and ensuring that they are able to meet their daily needs. Obviously, Hamaara Sapna and SFA's goals are very much in alignment.  The Hamaara Sapna beneficiaries enjoyed a week long class in financial education and were thrilled to see a steady increase in attendance after the first day -the class was relevant, interesting and meaningful.
