Small Scale Savings

Ms. Soumaya Roy spoke to the women on small scale savings. She explained them the importance of how savings make a difference in a woman's life. The session went on to explain different ways to have savings on a small scale basis. This was to initiate women into thinking if ways to start savings in their own way. Women were made to understand that even with a little money, one could start savings if the right resources were tapped and utilised. Different schemes were explained along with ways to utilise them or how to go about availing the schemes. it was crucial for women to realize that one need not have a lot of savings. Even if the savings were meagre, a good small scale saving scheme could still be beneficial to the person.
