Heritage Workshop ( Textile Designing)

Women were explained through the motifs of peacock, lotus and cow– representing flora and fauna.
Since color was traditionally derived from Natural dyes from plants in India, the relevance of color, the color wheel and theory, mixing of colors, types of dyes taken from Nature, texture, motifs, and form were explained with examples from these plants.
It was followed by a Hands on session of mixing of colors practically taught to the women.
