The Dance Movement Therapy session conducted by Ms.Dilshad Patel was attended by more then 80 women. It reduced stress & increased their flexibility. The Movement Therapy, a combination of isolation moves that works on the entire body. Dilshad not only taught them a few dance movements but also touched upon the importance of dance therapy. Also shared that this Therapy can make them aware of their current state of mind & its effects on their gestures and postures and facilitate positive change in self-concept. She shared with the women a few ideas through these Dynamic methods of movement & re-education provides a tools for reducing everyday stress through more efficient use of the body. All the women thoroughly enjoyed the session to the fullest. It was one more great experience especially to the new students.
