Exhibition at Naval Officers Residential Area (NOFRA)

An exclusive exhibition was organised in Naval Officers Residential Area (NOFRA) at Colaba in Mumbai. Beneficiaries put on display the clothes that they had made in the centre. It was the first time that they had an opportunity to interact with outsiders and sell their clothes. An enriching experience it gave them the confidence to meet people and to talk to them. Being able to converse in simple spoken English was an added benefit. They felt great being able to deal with the English speaking crowd. For many women it was an eye opener to the world outside.
