DESCRIPTION:Summer Workshop is a great opportunity to explore new things and dive deep into areas you love.This year the women enjoyed multiple things like drawing & painting\, warli art on white canvas\, and making paper earrings\, and attractive garlands.The most pretty and beautiful art was that of making fairy lanterns followed by Lipan art. Learning how to make chapatis\, Pani puri\, different flavored sharbat (cold drinks)  during the hot summer\, and ice creams were a few delectable items. A session on Naturopathy & diet helped them to understand and handle their health issues better. Zumba\, Classical\, and Bollywood dance added thrill and excitement – just what the women needed.

DESCRIPTION:Women thoroughly enjoyed the Summer Workshop activities arranged on the online portal as well.A range of different activities ranging from Zumba\, classical\,semi-classical dance\, zentangle art\, cooking to the talent show and fashion show.were carried out on the Zoom App. Women participated with the same enthusiasm as before. The biggest attraction this year was the Fashion Show and Talent Show. The women actively participated using different ideas and themes. The icing on the cake was that both these shows were judged by an outside jury and the winners for both the shows were announced by them. The experience was different and they had a taste of how an actual talent and fashion show would be judged. This has increased the level of confidence amongst the women to a large extent.

January comes and the first festival to kick-start the year is to gear up to celebrate Haldi Kumkum\, a ceremony which follows Makar Sankranti\, celebrated by women all around the country. The Haldi Kumkum Ceremony is a ritual conducted by married women in the Hindu faithAlong with the anniversary celebrations\, Haldi Kumkum ceremony was celebrated with great happiness along with Ms. Minal Bajaj\, Sheetal and Kriti Bajaj.

On the Christmas Eve\, churches around the world hold evening services. At midnight\, most churches hold special candlelight services. Santa Claus is a popular character in the Christmas celebration who brings gifts for the children. Christmas is so full of wonder\, meaning and tradition. Hamaara Sapna celebrated Christmas party at the Dharavi centre. Ladies sang Christmas carols and shared their experiences. All performed dance on difference songs and also enjoyed karaoke. At the end of party all cut the cake. Parties highest attraction was the gift in the form of a Christmas stocking filled with different types of Christmas sweets.

They sang the Christmas carols\, shared their thoughts and experiences\, performance of a dance on goan &  bollywood number with Santa and completed the occasion by cutting cake. Highest attraction was the gift in the form of a Christmas stocking filled with different types of Christmas sweets.

Through the medium of a Power Point Presentation\, he discussedsymptoms to look for\, the different types of Leprosy\, infection rate and further protocol to be carried out. Leprosy by the Government is carefully looked into with the strong aim to eradicate it from the indian population. He requested all the beneficiaries ot extend their support to those who come to inquire and do check-ups. This was lastly followed by a Question and answer session which the beneficiaires utilised to a large extent. All in all a very informative and useful session took place.

DESCRIPTION:Dr. Dilip Nadkarni took a session on various means to relive one of stress and keep tensions aside. He is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in treating sports and fitness-related injuries. He has done pioneering work in knee surgery and arthroscopy under local anesthesia. Dr. Nadkarni has been associated with Lilavati Hospital for 20 years. He has an overall experience of 30 years. He has handled over 10000 cases of Arthroscopic surgery. His patients include top international sports persons and celebrities engaged in fitness activity. Importance of proper posture\, self awareness and inputs on proper nutrition were also discussed. Dietitician Dr. Sonal Rayani mphasized the need of good nutrition and how to have a balanced diet. Dr. Nadkarni informed beneficiaries about probable causes and solutions related to knee problems. This was followed by a question and answer session where in beneficiaries put forward their questions to the doctor who answered them in a very simple and easy manner. Today the beneficiaries need ways and means to try and lead a stress free life and this session proved just that. Dietician Dr.Sonal Rayani spoke to the beneficiaries regarding nutrition. She discussed the essence of nutrition and simple ways to ensure that the beneficiaries had nutritious food. She also discussed what types of food intake would be beneficial for the body. All in all it was not only interesting but something that made the women think in terms of their general cooking and eating habits. Her tips and suggestions were well received.

The dance form known as ras garba.Navratri is the joyous celebration of the victory of good over evil. Navratri is celebrated in the fortnight of the Hindu month of Ashwin. It is celebrated over a period of 9 days\, establishing the importance of various gods and goddesses to imbibe the positive qualities. The 9 days of the festival culminates in Durga Puja and Dussehra. The power of devotion is wonderfully drawn forth to adore the divine shakti in all its prowess during these days of Navratri. In Hamaara Sapna Dharavi Centre\, women celebrated Navratri by wearing traditional sarees\, participated in different games and also danced on garba tunes. A women was given a gift for the best costume.

He undertakes training session of Mumbai Police as well as Force-one.As a social service he teaches self – defense\, specially to women which is extremely important for them in today’s era.The trainer demonstrated different moves that the beneficiaries tried to learn which could come handy to them in the future.Mr. Khushoor fulfills Hamaara Sapna beneficiaries request to learn Self Defense.His trainers present\, demonstrated different ways to practice self defense.The women learnt basic self defense moves which would help them to protect themselves in some circumstances of the need.

DESCRIPTION:Ms. Dilshad Patel conducted a Dance Therapy session for women. 86 women participated in the session. Dilshad taught ladies some dance movements and also explained the importance of Dance Movement Therapy. She also explained importance of nutrition and effect of the same in our day to day life. This session provides energy and freshness in the busy schedule of Modern era.Movement Therapy is based on the scientific concept that the body and mind are in constant reciprocal interaction. Motion influences body image and leads from a change in body image to a change in psychic & attitude. Movement Therapy works from the premise that the mind and the body are inseparable\, such that a change in one affects the change in the other. It was a new experience for the Women. Women enjoyed the session to the fullest.

The Movement Therapy a combination of isolation moves that work on the entire body. Dilshad not only taught them a few dance movements but also touched upon the importance dance therapy. How it helps one become aware of how their current state of mind affects their gestures and postures and facilitate positive change in self-concept. Also sharedas to how the Dynamic methods of movement re-education that provide tools for reducing everyday stress through more efficient use of the body All the women thoroughly enjoyed the session to the fullest.
