Hamaara Sapna beneficiaries had the privilege of witnessing 46th Jamnalal Bajaj Foundation Award function which was held on 13th Nov 2024 at The Royal Opera House. In total around 160 plus women attended the award function along with staff and teachers. The Jamnalal Bajaj Foundation honored winners for their exemplary efforts in the field of humanitarian and social work at the 46th edition of the Jamnalal Bajaj Awards.Since the institution of these awards, the Foundation commemorates the birth anniversary of Shri Jamnalal Bajaj every year. As a tribute to the great man on this special occasion, the Foundation felicitated achievers in the field of humanitarian activities and Gandhian constructive programmes by presenting them with a Citation, a Trophy and a Cash Prize. The award categories Award for Constructive Work to Mr. Girija Nandan, Award for Application of Science & Technology for Rural Development to Ms. Rashmi Bharti, Award for Development and Welfare of Women and Children (Instituted in memory of Padma Vibhushan Jankidevi Bajaj) to Dr. Tulasi Munda & International Award for Promoting Gandhian Values Outside India to Mr. Reverend Erik Kumedisa. Women found themselves honored to be part of such great function and getting to know the work of such people who contribute their life towards social reforms, advancing Gandhian ideals, creating sustainable livelihoods, empowering local communities, and preserving traditional crafts, bringing transformative change to the lives of marginalized people, promoting peace and Gandhian principles.
