SUMMARY:Ganpati Festival Home visits at the Beneficiaries Residence
DESCRIPTION:Ganesh Chaturthi\,also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chavithi is a Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Ganesha.A ten-day festival\, it starts on the fourth day of Hindu Lunisolar calendar month Bhadrapada\, which typically falls in the months of August or September of the Gregorian calendar.The festival celebrates Lord Ganesha as the God of New Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles as well as the God of Wisdom and Intelligence and is observed throughout India.Chanting of Vedic hymns\, different prayers\, processions take place during all days of the festival.Idol immersion is on the last day.The staff of Hamaara Sapna visited houses of some beneficiaries and took the blessings of Lord Ganeshas at their home during the festival.Different types of mandaps and flower decorations were done by the beneficiaries.Each more prettier than the other;The steamed modaks made by the beneficiaries were delicious.All in all every visit was memorable.
