Visit to Khadi Fest 2018

The National Khadi Festival 2018 is organised by Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) to promote Khadi products.The main objective of the festival is to promote the products of cottage industry and create awareness regarding the art of states.It also aimes at providing employment to weavers and workers who are involved in the cottage industry.Various types of Khadi prodcuts from different states are made available during the festival. The products include khadi clothes, khadi silk sarees, dress material, kurtas, jackets, bedsheets, carpets, chemical-free shampoos, honey and other household items, art and handicraft. Modern design and fashion elements were introduced in the Khadi products. The women from amara Sapna visited the festival. It was a whole new new experience to them.
