Ganpati Festival Home Visit 2019

Ganesh Chaturthi is a highly preferred and one of the most popular festival of the Hindu religion. It is celebrated annually in the month of August or September with big enthusiasm.  Ganesh Chaturthi is a 10-11 days long Hindu festival which starts with idol installation on the first day in the home or temple and ends on Anant Chaturdashi with Ganesha Visarjan. Devotees of Lord Ganesha offer prayers, offerings (especially Modak), sing devotional songs, recite mantras, do aarti and seek his blessings for wisdom and prosperity.The staff of Hamaara Sapna visited houses of some beneficiaries and took the blessings of Lord Ganeshas at their home during the festival.Different types of mandaps and flower decorations were done by the beneficiaries.Each more prettier than the other;The steamed modaks made by the beneficiaries were delicious.All in all every visit was memorable.
